HAPPY
30th Birthday to us!

|
| My life together |
By living together and sharing our daily life we support each other and create a place of belonging, home. Here we can all grow in an environment of love, acceptance and understanding. Each of us have gifts and limitations, we are all valued members of our community. |
| What is L'Arche |
| L'Arche (French for the Ark) is an international
federation of 130 communities in 30 countries, where people with and
without learning disabilities choose to live together in a spirit
of friendship. |
Communities
are based around small-scale, everyday housing, within local neighbourhoods.
Members with learning disabilities are supported in their choice of
lifestyle and can grow in confidence, skills and independence according
to individual need. |
| It is an enviroment in which all are given
the opportunity to grow as human beings, nurtured by meaningful relationships
and treated as valued members of society. |
